Apple cidar vinegar can be put in food and also added to a poultice with some herbs like aloe vera,epsom salts help,garlic cloves to eat and add to poultice like you would meat to a marinade..witch hazel too. Dip gauze in liquid and wrap the wound as cats carry alot of bacteria in their saliva. don't get me wrong. my 'Toto' is normally a good boy but my room-mate picked him up by his tail to keep him from running out the door so he bit and scrathced him causing his hand to swell up from the puncture wounds and then become infected,ugh! He won't be picking him up like this again,lol..
